Overview

David Andrew has a clear business objective to create Music Projects and Compose for clients in film, television, radio and events. These products and services have been developed over 2 years with a core focus on addressing the key customer problem and associated opportunities.

The Business Objectives

When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to grow revenue. Rapid revenue growth is considered the most critical and measurable business goal. At this stage of our development, we consider this to be more important than profitability growth, although both are important long term objectives.

The Customer

This business has been created with a clear focus on the needs of the client and the needs of the music consumer. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as the need for music of a high quality that helps people, that serves an aesthetic and function purpose. So, musical recordings that will be perfect for every occasion and more specifically, for every emotional requirement, i.e. the nuanced ending of a television program. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Music Supervisors and in general as an artists, Music Consumers.

The Value Proposition

David is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Music Supervisors and Music Consumers. "David Andrew will Provide music that will enrich your projects, your videos and, as an artist, your everyday.." In order to be deliver on this value proposition, I have spent years fine tuning my skills as a musician and a composer to offer exactly what the client requires as I have been working with some of the best in this field for many years. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of my competitive advantage.

Competitors

I have a number of competitors within the Music Projects and Compositions market. I consider my key competitors to be: Label artists and production music houses. My understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. I believe that I can compete effectively with Label artists and music production houses with years of experience as a trainer, session musician, writer, and as a church musician who has been involved in multiple projects that have achieved gold-record and platinum status..


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months my focus will be to Release 3 - 5 music projects, place music in ads, television shows and potentially film, and work with new artists and writers. These tasks will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to release full length projects and to tour and promote via radio, product tie ins and television placements. . These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: firstly, release 3-5 ep projects. Then, Sell a combined 50,000 units of these projects. Additionally, then write with top tier artists and continue to build my profile as a musical "heavy-hitter".
