By marketing directly to local homeowners in a familiar shopping invironment my objective by opening a mall kiosk is to generate a steady stream of local clients and ambassadors. Also making a name for myself and my team as " THE solar guys"

By educating the public and countering the current stigma associated with the solar industry, customer acquisition in a mall setting has been proven to be an effective way to market.

I am uniquely positioned to deliver the SolarCity product and services to Home owners in the Hemet, San Jacinto valley.. "SolarCity will Provide low cost, clean energy to homeowners.." In order for me to be deliver on this proposition I have Over 20 years In renting and or managing carts and kiosks in just about every mall in Southern California. From one product to another I have an uncanny way of making it happen in the mall invironment.. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of my competitive advantage.
Competitors
We have a number of competitors locally within the Solar Energy market. My understanding of these competitors has been used to refine my marketing strategy and value proposition. I believe that I can compete effectively in this space with our local Solar companies by utilizing the knowledge and experience that I have acquired from many years in the retail invironment. Partnering with the SolarCity name and product, mall kiosks in SoCal will be a huge success.. Without a doubt!!
Key Strategies
Over the next month my focus will be to Open a kiosk at the Hemet mall. . This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to Staff, train, schedule and manage four local Direct Energy Consultants. Implementing sales goals, incentives and bonus structures to meet an annual goal of ONE MEGA WATT!!. These strategies are a tactical implementation of my overall business goal to be a household name in the local solar market.
Milestones
Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: ONE MEGA WATT FIRST YEAR Duplicatable business plan Six kiosks in two years
