We have a number of competitors within the Unplayed music market. We love and listen to all of the popular, music streaming and download sites but their business model simply duplicates the same old problem. The popular artists with record label backing, push the independent artists to the back of the search page. This sets the stage for another fifty years of record labels filtering our music for us while limiting access to talented musicians, composers and writers. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with all of the majors. We love and listen to all of the popular streaming and download sites but their business model simply duplicates the same old problem. Over the next 6 months our focus will be to send out tweets via hoop sweep, Facebook, snap chat etc. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to write and distribute articles about how Prince and other artists changed the music industry.
