Gile Family Farms has a clear business objective to develop, produce, promote and distribute Organic Farm fresh food with off-grid living products and services. These products and services have been developed with a core focus on addressing the key customer needs and associated opportunities.

As a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to grow revenue. Rapid revenue growth is considered the most critical and measurable business goal. At this stage of our development, we consider this to be more important than profitability growth, although both are important long term objectives.

The Customer

Gile Family Farms has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer need as sustainability independence from other sources. Initial 2-5 years farm development of planting and maturation of trees and permaculture system to productive harvest. Finding buyers for our products. Teaching Permaculture principles. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Local restaurants, stores, farmers markets, fruit stands.

The Value Proposition

Gile Family Farms is uniquely positioned to deliver value to local restaurants, stores, farmers markets, fruit stands. "Gile Family Farms will provide quality organic GMO free produce." In order to deliver on this value proposition, we, using permaculture principles will grow produce on this nutient rich soil which will stand out above the rest. This capability will take considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Organic Farm with off-grid living market. We consider our key competitors to be: Local growers, the fruit market off of Pineda, the Asian produce shop. Most produce at the produce stores are imported or brought in from out of state. We will offer quality nutrient dense, fresh, local and ripe produce, herbs and fermented foods, smoothies and green drinks. We will deliver these items to the restaurants and local health food stores.. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with local growers, the fruit market off of Pineda, the Asian produce shop. Most produce at the produce stores are imported or brought in from out of state. We will offer quality nutrient dense, fresh, local and ripe produce, herbs and fermented foods. We will deliver these items to the restaurants and local health food stores. by our local grown fresh from the farm to you and exceptionally nutrient dense foods spell exceptional flavor. When restaurants are competing for customers they need the highest quality and flavor produce available to obtain a cutting edge plus they can rest assured to know they are offering their customers the freshest local tasty and nutrient dense foods possible..


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to obtain land and implement permaculture principles.. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to Plant mulberries, avocados, mango, bananas, star fruit, papaya, sweet potatoes, moringa, pineapples, strawberries, watermelon, tomatoes, citrus, lemon, orange mandarine, grapefruit, satsuma, herbs, cowpeas, collards, kale. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: purchase land, develop land according to permaculture principles, and marketing our products.
