Overview

Land's End Lounge & Vapory has a clear business objective to develop, produce, promote and distribute beer, wine, and vaporizers products and services. These products and services have been developed over 3 months with a core focus on addressing the key customer problem and associated opportunities.

The Business Objectives

As a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to acquire new customers. Customer acquisition is considered to be the critical activity and we are seeking to grow the number of customers. We understand that customer growth could be at the expense of profitability, and that there is a cost associated with customer acquisition. Our long term objective is to build a clear customer acquisition process.

The Customer

Land's End Lounge & Vapory has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as limited access to places for vapers to go where they can vape freely and enjoy an alcoholic beverage and also buy the necessary supplies they need. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of vapers and ex smokers.

The Value Proposition

Land's End Lounge & Vapory is uniquely positioned to deliver value to vapers and ex smokers. "Land's End Lounge & Vapory will provide a relaxing atmosphere where people can come and hang out casually with friends while enjoying a beverage and vaping while also being able to pick up any supplies they need." In order to deliver on this value proposition my passion to help smokers and ex-smokers control their nicotine cravings has led me to learn a great deal about the different models, flavors, and accessories that are available to consumers. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the beer, wine, and vaporizers market. We consider our key competitors to be: Steampunk Lounge and Vapory, Vape Cafe, VaporWorks, and The Vaporium,. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Steampunk Lounge and Vapory, Vape Cafe, VaporWorks, and The Vaporium by opening up shop in a location that does not have an abundance of options for vapers in the area.


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to scout a prime location for vapers that do not have a convenient supply near them. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to have promotions running on multiple web pages for an online store that is linked to the inventory of the brick and mortar location. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: find a location that suits the needs of the our vision, launch a promotional Facebook page so that we can communicate with our customers via social media, and expand the business to the online market.
