Munk Distributing 1 Page Business Plan

Tortillas and chips Business Plan

Munk Distributing 1 Page Business Plan

Overview

Munk Distributing has a clear business objective to distribute Tortillas and chips products and excellent customer service. These products and services have been developed with a core focus on addressing customer relationships and product awareness.

The Business Objectives

As a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to grow profitability. It is critical that we balance revenue growth with the growth in our cost base. Whilst the desire for profitable growth may constrain our growth rate, it is more important that revenue growth in isolation.

The Customer

Munk Distributing has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. We have acknowledged the key customer as anyone looking for a low carb alternative to bread. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of individuals and families that are looking for a healthier way of stating.

The Value Proposition

Munk Distributing is uniquely positioned to deliver value to individuals and families. "Munk Distributing will provide great customer service and represent Mission tortilla with its industry leading products as the leader it is in its field." In order to deliver on this value proposition, my previous 18 years of route sales with Wonder has given me the knowledge on what works well with the stores and what doesn't and the ability to create solid friendships and not just buisness relationships. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of Munks competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Tortillas and chips market. We consider our key competitors to be: Tortilla Factory and Tia Rosa. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy. We believe that we can compete effectively with Tortilla Factory and Tia Rosa because Mission is the largest maker of tortillas in the U.S. and with its many varieties of tortillas has a larger target of potential customers than my competition. .

Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to acquire key display pieces in higher volume stores. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy of building solid relationships with my customers so that I will be able to go as big as I want with my displays and product placement within the store. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Introduce myself to my new accounts and start creating our partnership Increase monthly sales by 10% To obtain display pieces for each one of my accounts
