The Bean Machine has a clear business objective to produce Coffee products and the focus on addressing the key customer problem and associated opportunities.

A key component of our growth strategy is the ability to critically identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key business objective is to acquire new customers. Customer acquisition is considered to be the critical activity and we are seeking to grow the number of customers. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of people traveling to work.

The Value Proposition

The Bean Machine is uniquely positioned to deliver value to People traveling to work. "The Bean Machine will provide an easy get off the road position for customers to easily obtain the freshly brewed coffee served up with happy cheerful service giving customers a great positive start to the day." In order to deliver on this value proposition, we provide a brew of coffee made up from a hand-crafted blend of freshly roasted beans. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Coffee market. We consider our key competitors to be: The nearest cafe is a least 1 kilometre away in the opposite direction. We understand the importance of coffee and the all to common case of competitors lacking passion. We believe the passion for coffee shows in the flavour and care with which it is made . Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with our belief that we are making coffee and only coffee, to do one thing and do it well.


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to produce the best coffee around and provide a warm and welcoming service. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to Start own coffee brand. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Reputation, Earn back the financial sacrifice and to be in a position to expand our business.
