Overview

Zamanathi Drug Rehabilitation Center has a clear business objective which is "To offer services to rehabilitate people who abuse drugs. These services have been developed over 3 months with a core focus on addressing the key customer problem and associated opportunities.

The Business Objectives

When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to grow profitability. It is critical that we balance revenue growth with the growth in our cost base. Whilst the desire for profitable growth may constrain our growth rate, it is more important that revenue growth in isolation.

The Customer

Zamanathi Drug Rehabilitation Center has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem and the problem to be addressed is the issue of drug abuse and the outcomes of drug abuse such as; dehumanization, family violence, homelessness, juvenile delinquency, economic abuse, increase in crime, poverty, unemployment, child abuse , elderly abuse. This is a critical issue for our selected target market which is youth between the ages of 12 to 17 years and adults from the ages of 18 to 40 years.

The Value Proposition

Zamanathi Drug Rehabilitation Center is uniquely positioned to deliver value to the target market of youth between the ages of 12 to 17 years and adults from the ages of 18 to 38 years.

"Zamanathi Drug Rehabilitation a Center is place for customers who believe in change and here we aim to rehabilitate our customers so that they can be productive integral parts of society."

In order to deliver on this value proposition, we know that our customers will be coming from different walks of life.

Therefore we aim to provide spiritual, pysiological and economic support to our clients during our 3 month programe.

We aim to affiliate with our church to assist our customers to be balanced spiritually. We aim to provide healthy food parcels to our customers who have completed our programe successfully but cannot afford to provide themselves with food and basic necessities.

We aim to provide skills development and assistance with employment for our customers who successfully complete the program but are unemployed and have no source of income.

We will also charge a fee for our services that will be affordable to our customers in the general public. Our fee for our 3month programme will be R6000 per customer depending on the drug issue to be addressed.

This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Drug Rehabilitation market.

We consider our key competitors to be:

1) Act of Grace Community Addiction Recovery Center

2) South Coast Recovery center

3) SANCA - Lulama a Treatment Center.

Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition.

We believe that we can compete effectively with

Act of Grace Community Addiction Recovery Center, South Coast Recovery center ,SANCA - Lulama a Treatment Center.

> Whilst our competitors charge high fees for their rehabilitation programs and services We aim to charge affordable rates for our customers and a nominal fee for enrollment into the Zamanathi Uzeukhule Project which is R 2000 per customer per month depending on the issue to be addressed.

> We also aim to offer more in spiritual, physiological and economic support to our customers than our competitors. .


Key Strategies

> Over the next 6 months our focus will be to establish the Rehabilitation Center.

> We aim to have the following departments: Humane Resource, Administration, Procurement, Finance , Marketing, Maintenance ,Catering and security.

> We also aim to out source professionals such as Psychologists, Psychiatrist and Doctors.

> We aim to employ Professional Nursing Staff and Social workers to ensure that we deliver a good quality service to our customers.

> Due to the high number of youth and young adults in Durban that are addicted to drugs we will advertise our business aggressively in order to obtain customers.

> We will ensure that our fees are affordable to our customers.

This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to start a project called Zamanathi Uzeukhule Project which is a life coaching project.

This project is targeted at children from grade 4 to students who are at 1st year University level. this project offers programs in career guidance , counseling and awareness raising and support to overcoming the issues affecting the youth up to 1st year university level students.

This project was inspired by the vision of the Zamanathi uZeukhule Rehabilitation Center and will also form a component of ensuring that our business is sustainable.

These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are:

> To obtain a turnover of R7200000 after 2 years in operation.
High
> Service 100 customers every 3 months.

> Rehabilitate 90 % out of 100 customers which utilize our service.
