Overview

Hunter Sales has a clear business objective to develop, produce, promote and distribute World class automotive equipment products. These products have been developed over 78 years with a core focus on addressing the key customer problems and working to provide top of the line equipment for them.

The Business Objectives

When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to grow revenue. Rapid revenue growth is considered the most critical and measurable business goal. At this stage of our development, we consider this to be more important than profitability growth, although both are important to obtain long term goals.

The Customer

Hunter Sales has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as Hunter Engineering offers many different products to address all needs and wants from ours customer thru the help of our Sales,Service,Technical Support, R & D......etc. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Valued customers.

The Value Proposition

Hunter Sales is uniquely positioned to deliver quality products to our Valued customers. "Hunter Sales will sell the best product for your application and prove it to you thru demonstrations and highly trained staff." In order to deliver on this value proposition, we work while the competition is sleeping so to speak by logging in more than 500 man hours a day on improving our products and patenting new equipment so they will better assist you on a day to day process. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

I have a number of competitors within the automotive equipment market. I consider our key competitors to be: Hoffman, John Bean, & Ammcoats. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. I believe that we can compete effectively with Hoffman, John Bean, & Ammcoats by Providing top of the line Equipment .


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months my focus will be to Ride with my Service Manager and Regional Manager. Acquire Sales calls through the use of my USB list provided by Hunter Engineering. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to Analyze my Business Plan and set new personal and business goals to be achieved in the upcoming year. These strategies are a tactical implementation of my overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Sell one Alignment machine a month Achieve a "Home Run" Sell 120% of my quota in my first complete year with Hunter Engineering
