Sweet Surrender has a clear business objective to produce Gourmet marshmallows products. These products have been developed over 3 months with a core focus on addressing the key customer problem and associated opportunities.

When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to acquire new customers. Customer acquisition is considered to be the critical activity and we are seeking to grow the number of customers. Our long term objective is to build a clear customer acquisition process.

Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as one where we are satisfying customer indulgences for a gourmet artisan product. This is a critical issue for our selected target market for customers who wants to indulge in gourmet marshmallows.

Sweet Surrender is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Anyone who wants to indulge in gourmet marshmallows. "Sweet surrender marshmallows are an incredible eating experience as they are hand crafted in small batches using the finest ingredients to ensure the experience is one you will want to repeat." In order to be deliver on this value proposition, we use only the finest natural ingredients in our marshmallows and wherever possible look to support Fair-Trade products and local producers and aim to assist local charities.. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Gourmet marshmallows market. We consider our key competitors to be: New Farm confectionery, Blossom treats. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with New Farm confectionery, Blossom treats by Better tasting marshmallows that look appealing .


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to be 100% confident in our product to be able to deliver marshmallows that are consistently delicious. We need to be able to produce our marshmallows in a cost effective and time effective manner to increase profitability. We need to be able to receive sufficient orders to ensure a suitable level of profitability. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to increase our offerings from gourmet marshmallows to also include gourmet fudges and also gourmet rocky road. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Launch first product, obtain first recurring order, Increase product offering
