HUMC has a clear business objective to develop, produce, promote and distribute Christian services. These services have been developed over 30 years with a core focus on addressing the key needs of our members.

The Business Objectives

When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our Christian objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term churches objective is to expand our christian services which will help HUMC to acquire new members.
Member acquisition is considered to be the critical activity and we are seeking to grow the number of members. We understand that member growth could be at the expense of a balanced budget and that there is a cost associated with member acquisition. Our long term objective is to build a clear member acquisition process through quality Christian services.

The Customer

HUMC has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our members and prospective members. Through a structured member discovery process, we will determine needs. Extensive plan to address membership growth will be developed. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Unchurched or under churched.

The Value Proposition

HUMC is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Unchurched or under churched. "HUMC will Provide Christian support." In order to be deliver on this value proposition, we Serve the local population with quality Christian services. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Christian market. We consider our key competitors to be: Local churches, TV and all of the activities of busy families. . Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Local churches, TV and all of the activities of busy families. by Quality and caring staff. Outstanding facilities.
Convenient location. Geared to provide Christian services. .


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to Provide additional services to the community. Which will grow membership. . This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to Develop a marketing plan based on community need to grow the churches membership. . These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall growth goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Improve services to members and prospective members. Add 100 new members each year Survey needs and expand services to those needs
