Overview

Be. Fashion Line. has a clear business objective to develop, produce, promote and distribute modern motivational streetwear clothing products. These products have been developed over 2 months with a core focus on addressing the key customer problem and associated opportunities.

The Business Objectives

When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to launch a new product. Whilst our existing products have been useful for testing the customer problem, new products are required to fully capitalize on our business potential. Our growth path is clearly oriented around the addition of new products, the development of these new products and the subsequent marketing of these. It is understood that costs will be associated with product development and marketing and these have been allowed for in our budget.

The Customer

Be. Fashion Line. has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as a way to wear clothes that are affordable, stylish, and inspirational. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of college students, and young adults.

The Value Proposition

Be. Fashion Line. is uniquely positioned to deliver value to college students, and young adults. "Be. Fashion Line. will provide a clothing line that is unique, stylish, and modern while incorporating inspirational quotes and words." In order to deliver on this value proposition, our unique eye for style allows us to relate to young adults close to our age. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the modern streetwear clothing line market. We consider our key competitors to be: H&M, Dope, Been Trill, Odd Future/Golf Wang, Diamond Supply Co. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with H&M, Dope, Been Trill, Odd Future/Golf Wang, Diamond Supply Co., because our streetwear will be not only trendy and unique, but it will be motivational, and empowering.


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to appoint upcoming fashion design majors on the line, and have them create designs related to the overall line, which will inspire, motivate, and be stylish. Then add a shopping page onto the J.i Productions website. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to disperse the line to schools in the Greensboro area, in addition to the surrounding cities of Greensboro. Create more designs that match the current season at the time, and sell via social media, and create a fashion show for local designers, to take the stage with Be. Fashion Line.. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Launch a new product, sale over thirty Items via the website, and host a local Fashion show.
