Furniture has a clear business objective to produce, revitalise and update furniture products. These products and services have been developed over 18 months with a core focus on the customer and what they want

The Business Objectives

When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to acquire new customers. Customer acquisition is considered to be the critical activity and we are seeking to grow the number of customers. We understand that customer growth could be at the expense of profitability, and that there is a cost associated with customer acquisition. Our long term objective is to build a clear customer acquisition process.

The Customer

Furniture has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem is creating quality products and a affordable price, This is a critical issue for our selected target market of General public.

The Value Proposition

Furniture is uniquely positioned to deliver value to General public. "Furniture can take your old furniture and restyle it to a high standard to match your decor for less than buying new." In order to deliver on this value proposition, i work to a very high standard at a fraction of the cost, to redevelop with my client to give the exact out come they require. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Revitalise and update furniture market. We consider our key competitors to be any furniture retailer that have a store as they get the footfall that I don't . Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with The main competitors that have a store as they get the footfall that I don't but Because I dont have a store I can keep my costs down an that reflects in a lower price but the same if not better quality.


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to Advertise this will be my predominant avenue to work on, I will be setting aside a couple of hours a day to dedicate to advertising via social media, and leaflets and word of mouth . This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to In 12 months I hope to have a big enough revenue to justify a business premises to work in and sell from, i currently mostly work on my clients own furniture but I'm hoping to expand to buying pieces working on them and having a location to display and sell them . These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Effective advertising, doubling my client base in the next 2 years, Making a profit in the first year
