Pamona Purdy Designs has a clear business objective to develop, produce, promote and distribute distinctive handmade jewelry products and clay jewelry dishes. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as creating a jewelry line that speaks to the dream client aesthetic. There are so many ways to express this and in market research this jewelry line will fill a unique niche between high end polished gemstone jewelry and boho chic. This line can go from day to night with ease and make the client feel that their style is expressed fully. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of fashion forward clients.

The Value Proposition

Pamona Purdy Designs is uniquely positioned to deliver value to its fashion forward clients. "Pamona Purdy Designs will create distinctive jewelry for the client that values handcrafted one of a kind jewelry. They desire jewelry that is created to wow not only the client but stop people in the street to ask then, where did you get that?." In order to be deliver on this value proposition, our design aesthetic must be unique and recognizable. So the collections will have similar elements but in different arrangements,colors and textures. This will create repeat business but also make my brand recognizable and desirable. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Distinctive handmade jewelry market. We consider our key competitors to be: My competitors are the vast array of ETSY sellers and the jewelry designers who have been doing this for years now. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Launch my online store, obtain 500 followers on Instagram and Facebook and obtain 5 wholesale accounts from local higher end boutiques.
