Key Strategies
Over the next six months our focus will be to:
"Develop a client centred approach to wellbeing, informed by high quality interventions and practice based research into the psychosocial needs of people living with chronic neurodegenerative disorders such as, Parkinson's Disease and Parkinson's Plus Syndromes."
Additionally, we aim to support clients from all ages and backgrounds living with chronic disability.
We will achieve this through high quality one to one and group based interventions, as well as through:
1. Training, supporting and supervising healthcare professionals working with complex psychosocial and health - related needs.
2. Training, supporting and supervising individuals living with chronic disability in becoming Peer Counsellors for others experiencing their difficulties.
3 Health focused research with the aim of improving the lived experiences and overall Wellbeing of people living with complex mind and body problems.. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to expand the client base over the next 12 months to include developing partnerships with the NHS via the 'Any Qualified Provider' (AQP), tendering process, as well as voluntary sector organisations and private sector managed healthcare and health insurance companies, such as Spire, The Priory, AXA etc.
We also aim to have a completely developed business plan outlining the case for a 'Social Enterprise Company', working within a 'non - profit' based model, that is both accessible and sustainable and prepared for growth in the future.. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.
Milestones
Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next two years are:
Produce full business plan for social enterprise sector of the business.
Undertake, publish and disseminate high quality research into innovative approaches towards working with people with chronic disability and mind - body problems.
Launch training company for healthcare professionals and clients.
