Activ8 Nutrition & Fitness has a clear business objective to promote Personal Training and nutrition services to young mothers. This business has been recently established with a core focus on addressing the key customer problem and associated opportunities.

The Business Objectives

When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to have mothers everywhere knowing the ways to get fit, what to use and focusing on this time for themselves. Customer acquisition is considered to be the critical activity and we are seeking to educate mothers on what to use and how to use it when working out. We understand that customer growth could be at the expense of profitability, and that there is a cost associated with customer acquisition. Our long term objective is to build a clear customer acquisition process.

The Customer

Activ8 Nutrition & Fitness has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as time management and the need for education when it comes to what fitness training can be accomplished. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Mothers of young children.

The Value Proposition

Activ8 Nutrition & Fitness is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Mothers of young children. "Activ8 Nutrition & Fitness will make time for you to learn how to get fit, and enjoy it". In order to deliver on this value proposition, I, as a mother value the importance of self time and being a woman, not just a mother. I will teach you how to workout, even with the little guys running around. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

I can commute and my sessions will be flexible to help you exercise when it suits you. I'm a mother and know the feelings associated with wanting, yearning and needing to feel like more than just a mother. I offer more than just a class involving pushing your pram around the suburbs.


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months my focus will be to Promote the importance of fitness and nutrition to mothers. Help them learn how to find time for themselves to be active and focus internally. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to incorporate nutritional and fitness values, worth and individuality into mother's lives and always encourage new customers. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: To embrace and educate at least 100 mothers about 'fitting in fitness'
Establish an educative, honest and accountable website and
Expand and exceed growth expectations for Activ8 Nutrition & Fitness financially, mindfully and encouragingly.
