Overview

PINNACLE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY has a clear business objective to "produce the highest quality students at a modest cost." This education has been developed over 20 years with a core focus on addressing public, private, and charter school strengths and weaknesses along with cutting-edge educational opportunities.

The Business Objectives

When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to prepare students for success in college and build life-long, high achieving, learners. We see measured achievement against standard educational benchmarks as a major event that will provide a qualifiable return to our students and families. Our business strategy is oriented around achieving the highest possible education in the structured, but flexible, school-year.

The Customer

PINNACLE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our students and families. Through a structured student discovery process, we have validated the key student problem as a high quality Christian education for a modest cost. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Christian families.

The Value Proposition

PINNACLE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Christian families. "PINNACLE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY will provide a high-quality, Christian-based education that addresses common homeschool pitfalls at an incredible value." In order to be deliver on this value proposition, our headmaster is an experienced teacher with a M.Ed. in Gifted Studies with over twenty years of teaching experience at private, public, and charter schools throughout the United States. This vast experience has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of private and public competitors within northern Bexar County. We consider our key competitors to be: NEISD, San Antonio Christian School, and Keystone school. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with NEISD, San Antonio Christian School, and Keystone school by utilizing small class sizes, individualized Christian based instruction, that is structured yet flexible. We will do this with maximum parental involvement and feedback.


Key Strategies

Over the next 4 months our focus will be to start a non-profit homeschool co-op. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to build a sustainable homeschool model from pre-school through high school. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall education goals outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next year are: (1) Business plan and curriculum by June 1st, 2014. (2) Budget and supplies ordered by July 1st, 2014. (3) Classroom construction complete by August 1st, 2014. (4) First day of classes on September 2nd, 2014.
