North Ballet Academy has a clear business objective to develop Quality Ballet Instruction. These services have been developed over 5 years with a core focus on addressing the key student problems and associated opportunities.

When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to acquire new students. Student acquisition is considered to be the critical activity and we are seeking to grow the number of students. We understand that student growth could be at the expense of profitability, and that there is a cost associated with student acquisition. Our long term objective is to build a clear student acquisition process.

North Ballet Academy has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our students. Through a structured student discovery process, we have validated the key student problem as we provide a place for youth to progress from new dancers to professionals. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of young dedicated dancers.

The Value Proposition

North Ballet Academy is uniquely positioned to deliver value to young dedicated dancers. In order to deliver on this value proposition, we at North Ballet have on staff instructors well trained in Vagonova from well known names around the world.. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Quality Ballet Instruction market. We consider our key competitors to be: Metropolitan Ballet and Russian Ballet Academy. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Metropolitan Ballet with better trained instructors, detailed and complete training plans.


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to better advertise and demonstrate our ballet excellence!. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to retain 85% of our Complete Classical Division students.. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: have at least 5 students in each level, have a student dance as a principal in a larger company, establish a dormitory and take on international students.
