Cibo has a clear business objective to develop, produce, promote and distribute Food Service & preparation products. These products have been developed over 10 years with a core focus on addressing the key customer problem and associated opportunities.
The Business Objectives
When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to grow revenue. Rapid revenue growth is considered the most critical and measurable business goal. At this stage of our development, we consider this to be more important than profitability growth, although both are important long term objectives.
The Customer
Cibo has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as not having a convenient and affordable product that is wholesome and nutritious. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Middle class families.
The Value Proposition
Cibo is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Middle class families. "Cibo will Provide customers with a natural home made product that is both filling and affordable." In order to deliver on this value proposition, our experienced staff is professionally trained to handle and prepare food in its raw state. Allowing for a more wholesome experience. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.
Competitors
We have a number of competitors within the Food Service & preparation market. We consider our key competitors to be: Hardy's, sugar & spice, Rossi's family deli, etc. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Hardy's, sugar & spice, Rossi's, etc. by incorporating a traditional cooking method that allows for minimal error. Creating a quality product with simple ingredients that customers can acquire and appreciate.
Key Strategies
Over the next 6 months our focus will be to appoint a sales manager to monitor labor and costs. Balance schedules and establish a system that increases productivity from staff. All around increasing customer satisfaction. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to allow staff to grow through team bonding exercises helping to create a more cohesive work environment where employees can enjoy themselves and take pride in their work. Establishing a foundation for the employees to learn and grow allowing for internal growth, promotion and longevity. In the long run lowering training costs by shrinking turnover and securing employee competence. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.
Milestones
Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 6 months are: Appoint a sales manager Enact a company policy and training system Balance schedules and cost of labor
