The Business Objectives

As a key component of our growth strategy, we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to acquire new customers. Customer acquisition is considered to be the critical activity and we are seeking to grow the number of customers. We understand that customer growth could be at the expense of profitability, and that there is a cost associated with customer acquisition. Our long term objective is to build a clear customer acquisition process.

The Customer

Bad to the Bow Cheer has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as Creating a winning competitive cheerleading team that consistently increases each cheerleaders' skill levels. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Youth from 5-18 years.

The Value Proposition

Bad to the Bow Cheer is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Youth from 5-18 years. "Bad to the Bow Cheer trains our cheerleaders to be skilled, confident and motivated to dominate the competition floor.." In order to deliver on this value proposition, we use Our unique training methods create skillful cheerleaders and we offer discounts for military families, as well as a sponsorship program for families who are struggling financially. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Competitive Cheer Teams and Private Lessons market. We consider our key competitors to be: Cheer Legendz, Cheer St Louis, and Spirit Elite. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Cheer Legendz, Cheer St Louis, and Spirit Elite by offering sponsorship programs for families that are struggling financially, as well as a military discount. In addition to our family assistance, we have a training method that is unique in a way that we build their skills as cheerleaders both physically and mentally. We want our cheerleaders to be skilled and strive for perfection but we also want them to feel motivated and build their confidence as individuals and as cheerleaders.

Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months, oujr focus will be to Recruit new cheerleaders from local schools and gymnastics gyms. Also build value to our programs to draw more people in to the business. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to Open our first gym in a well populated area and host a grand opening party and offer specials to the people in attendance. With having our own gym we will be able to offer more classes, teams, and host future events within our market. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Open our first cheerleading gym, reach 100 cheerleaders, and have a staff with a variety of skills including tumbling cheerleading and choreography.
