Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as To manufacture a Can that is meeting international trends whilst increasing profitability. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Gain cost effective market share.

The Value Proposition
 

Tiger Brands is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Gain cost effective market share. "Tiger Brands will Provide a can manufacturing facility that can supply the Tiger Brands demand." In order to be deliver on this value proposition, we Enter as an inhouse manufacturer in a very dominant market. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

 

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Food Producer market. We consider our key competitors to be: Golden Era and DivFoods. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Golden Era and DivFoods by Reduce input cost with regards to packaging resulting in a acceptable profit growth.


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months, our focus will be to Prepare an investment ready proposal and business plan for the Cans project. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to Establish the viability to manufacture all Tiger Brands CANS inhouse.. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Viability study Business plan Investment proposal
