Your family pharmacy 1 Page Business Plan

Overview

Your family pharmacy has a clear business objective to develop, produce, promote and distribute Pharmaceutical services prescriptions counseling services.

These services have been developed over 2 years with a core focus on addressing the key customer problem and associated opportunities.

The Business Objectives

As a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and
align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones.

Our key long term business objective is to grow revenue. Rapid revenue growth is considered the most critical and measurable business goal. At this stage of our development, we consider this to be more important than profitability growth, although both are important long term objectives.

The Customer

Your family pharmacy has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as The main problems addresses are associated with adherence issues. The are various issues associated with non adherence to medications and we are taking a case managwment approach to addressing these problems by finding out what when and where these barriers occur and how to address them. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of HIV/aids patients and diabetic patients.

The Value Proposition

Your family pharmacy is uniquely positioned to deliver value to HIV/aids patients and diabetic patients.

"Your family pharmacy will As mentioned earlier these patients are usually financially challenged due to health limitations that prevent them from working full time jobs because many days they are too ill to report to the workplace. Subsequently we will make arrangement for these barriers to medication adherence to be lifted.."

In order to be deliver on this value proposition, we We have been providing these services by managing community drug stores for iver 30 years and have built a reputation for providing outstanding personal confidential and affordable prescription and medical services. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Pharmaceutical services prescriptions counseling market. We consider our key competitors to be: Chain drug store pharmacies. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with We provide services that can be tapered to fit each patients needs . We do not plan to exceed 250 patients due to the limitations of personal attention which we feel will be compromised with a larger patient population. Obviously we do not plan to turn away clients in necessary of 250 so we plan to increase our staff once we reach this patient population. Ideally we will add another pharmacist and pharmacy technician to handle the next 250 clients keeping in mind the importance of confidential personal prescription services. We plan to meet with our clients wherever the are and mainly in the comfort of their home or personal environment of their choosing. It has been observed that by going out to meet these patients we provide a warm friendly approach which the patients happily receive..

Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to Provid personal and confidential prescriptions at affordable prices for those that are financially challenged and also those that have health limitations such as diabetes and HIV/aids. It has been observed that many diabetic and ais patients do not pick up their prescriptions for various reasons most notably limited finances. Considering that the patients insurance company and gimmunities at large are paying for medical services to diagnose aids and diabetes also to provide laboratory services along with potential hospital nursing and long term care funding at considerable financial burdens! Unlike many other illnesses these patients are usually required to take medications ie antiretroviral medications and insulin for the duration of their lives it is in the best interests of all involved parties to insure that these patients actually receive their medications! If medications are not dispensed to this patient population there will be severe health and financial burdens put in place. It has been a traditional waste if resources to simple diagnose and identify these clients without insuring that they actually receive prescription medications to treat these illnesses therefore it is imperative that these patients receive their prescription medications daily! We are uniquely positioned to provide these services.. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to Your family pharmacy has been providing these services and plan to continue to expand these services to approximately 250 patients. The average diabetic and HIV/aids patient spends around $2000 monthly onprescriptions and medical needs and the pharmacy receives 10 percent of sales therefore 250 patients returns approximately $25,000 monthly and based on previous expenditures the average cost of monthly operations is around $10,000 leaving a monthly excess of around $15,000. Or 180,000 yearly!.

These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are:

Return personal professional pharmacy services to the communities at lege
Provide a different paradigm for providing pharmacy services
