Time To Take Off has a clear business objective to promote Solo Travel services. These services have been developed over 4 months with a core focus on addressing the key customer problem and associated opportunities.

The Business Objectives

When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to acquire new customers. Customer acquisition is considered to be the critical activity and we are seeking to grow the number of customers. We understand that customer growth could be at the expense of profitability, and that there is a cost associated with customer acquisition. Our long term objective is to build a clear customer acquisition process.

The Customer

Time To Take Off has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as Time To Take Off wants to empower women and build confidence to travel solo. Many women are afraid to travel alone, for fear of safety, uncomfortable with not having friends or family to travel with and/or feel they can bot afford to travel. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of the everyday modern women.

The Value Proposition

Time To Take Off is uniquely positioned to deliver value to the everyday modern woman. Time To Take Off will inspire and promote solo travel to improve happiness within a woman's personal life, build self esteem, and also confidence in her work environment. In order to deliver on this value proposition, I am no different than the women that are my target market. I am a single woman, with the responsibilities of holding a full-time job, I have bills that need to paid, and even with all these responsibilities I still make time to travel. This is a journey for me as much as it would a journey to my target market. My travel site is also more of a lifestyle, not just a blog or vlog. Women will be empowered through solo travel, but also up to date with the latest fashions and trends from all over the world, and given health and beauty tips to keep women looking and feeling their best while traveling. Women will see that I am no different than them.. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Inspire Solo Travel market. We consider our key competitors to be: Adventurous Kate, Oneika the Traveller, Nomadik Nomads, The Travelistas, . Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Adventurous Kate, Oneika the Traveller, Nomadik Nomads, The Travelistas. My site is a solo travel site that is a lifestyle, featuring my personal solo travels that will inspire other women to travel solo, but also be more appealing because Time To Take Off will feature fashions from all over the world that are wearable and give ideas to women to improve their current style. Time To Take Off will also feature beauty and health tips for a woman that is interested in maintaining her looks and health while traveling.


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to post on Time To Take Off's blog and also vlog my solo travels along with fashion, interviews, and health and beauty tips to help look your best while traveling and staying in optimal health. Also, doing cross interviews with other travel sites to boost readers. Utilize social media to gain readers . This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to start an exclusive travel group for women that are bored with everyday life and want to do something new! Also will begin co-ed travel trips for men and women who want to meet other singles. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Gain 100k+ readers my August 2013. Host advertisers on my site for income and also gain income from group travels and advertisers funding group trips.
