The Chocolate Love has a clear business objective to develop, produce and distribute Customized Chocolates, Desserts and Pastries products and services. These products and services have been developed over 3 years 5 months with a core focus on addressing the key customer problem and associated opportunities.
The Business Objectives

When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to acquire new customers. Customer acquisition is considered to be the critical activity and we are seeking to grow the number of customers. We understand that customer growth could be at the expense of profitability, and that there is a cost associated with customer acquisition. Our long term objective is to build a close customer relationship.

The Customer

The Chocolate Love has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as the need to learn more about pricing and product delivery. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of party planners and goers. We want to provide a more comfortable way for the customers to get their orders. We also want to cater provinces too, as we are only catering Metro Manila and Cavite City.

The Value Proposition


The Chocolate Love is uniquely positioned to deliver value to party planners and goers. "The Chocolate Love will provide customized chocolates, pastries and desserts, we provide chocolate giveaways for birthdays, weddings, and other occasions. we are customized so we can cater on what the client's party theme or motif. we also provide dessert and candy buffet services.." In order to deliver this value proposition, we are very flexible when it comes to catering what the client's wants and . we give our 100% to give the clients what they need. our customized products pretty much cater every occassion and party theme. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and form the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.
Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Customized Chocolates, Desserts, Pastries market. We consider our key competitors to be: tous les jours, Goldilocks, red ribbon, contis, and other online dessert and pastry businesses. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with other dessert and pastry shops by making and catering customized cupcakes, cakes, chocolate lollipops, giveaways, and by being flexible when it comes to what the customer likes, their wamts and needs, and we can also be advisers when it comes to customers who wants help on choosing the right product and services for their occassion/party.


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to buy a web domain for ouur online shop, having a "add to cart" feature for the customer's convenience in online buying, and participate in bazaars. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to expand products and have our own shop in malls or commercial sites. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Participate in Bazaars and Expos, Launch New Products and ways for making it comfortable for clients to get there orders (ex: shipping of the products for provincial buyers), Buy a website domain and have a mini shop in Las Pinas malls or commercial sites
