Overview
To recruit, train and motivate a team of Direct Sales Professionals to represent all 3 brands, (SKS - HEMS - SPD) within the North West, building a profitable and sustainable business, keeping utter professionalism at the core of every decision we make.
The Business Objectives
To have 3 fully functioning, target achieving branches within 3 months in the North West. (2+8)
To have an office in Belfast capable of representing all 3 brands within 3 months, achieving sales targets. (2+8)
To create a second tier management team, to enable the region to become a Division within 6 months, giving the Division a total potential head count of 12+36
The Customer
SKS/SPD are already very aware of their target market, however my team will be targeted to look for new markets, specifically in commercial sectors with a view of parallel selling every time a new customer is found and then for those customers to be managed 'account style' in order to introduce new products to them seamlessly.
I have no doubt that HEMS will establish itself very quickly as the UKs largest and most exciting direct sales company, targeting residential homeowners. Having a consistent flow of quality leads is all it takes to recruit new sales teams.
The Value Proposition
Competitors
This sector already has some great companies that in turn have some great sales people. By keeping everything we do professional but exciting, we can attract the best in the industry rather than having to pitch the best, putting us in an enviable position enabling us to grow organically, because of our talent base.
Key Strategies
To recruit key professionals, never comprising on quality of candidate.
Keeping all sales personnel product specific.
To consistently train the sales professionals, having identified areas of weakness to keep training specific to each sales person. Also use the knowledge within the region to share best practice regularly.
Breed talent. Allow everyone to grow and encourage successful team members to develop a career. All managers must find their own replacement before they can move on to a promotion.
Give managers ownership and autonomy to run their team, allowing them to impose their 'signature' within their department, inline with all company guidelines.
To hold regular, but meaningful meetings, giving every single team member total transparency of the business.
Milestones
1. Having each branch achieve £200K in the same sales period. This will highlight true focus, to have all branches within the region achieve target individually and as a team.
2. When a branch achieves 'super branch' status. BM, SM, 8 reps.
3 When all 3 branches become super branches, the region will have achieved division status.
