Ratees has a clear business objective to develop, produce, promote and distribute dehydrated food products with a core focus on addressing the consumer demand for healthy, convenient and tasty snacks.
The Business Objectives
A key component of our growth strategy is to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our long term business objective is to launch new exciting category of food products. Our growth path is clearly oriented around creating a new food category and the development and marketing of the products it is comprised of. It is understood that costs will be associated with product development and marketing and these have been accounted for in our budget.
The Customer
Ratees has been created with a clear focus and understanding of consumer demand. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated a significant consumer demand in the new food category we are creating. The demand for quality dried foods, especially jerky, is not being addressed by any current supplier or business in Thailand.
The Value Proposition
Ratees is uniquely positioned to deliver value to consumers interested in convenient, healthy and delicious snacks. We feel we can deliver on this value proposition by utilizing superior marketing and business management skills combined with better process', recipes and production facilities. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.
Competitors
As this is a new market we have virtually no competitors in the jerky category. In the dried foods and fruits market there are some major competitors already contracted with major retail chains. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively by focusing on a few specific products and using superior production methods which will enable us to make higher quality products at competitive prices.
Key Strategies
Over the next 6 months our focus will be to test the market, refine production, and increase the accuracy of total business expenses and scalability.

Use customer feed back to develop product. . This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to Open brick and mortar stores. Develop business with major retailers (7-11, Tesco, Makro, YOK, Romping, etc.). These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones.
