Overview

Aethel Apparel has a clear business objective to develop, produce, promote and distribute handmade apparels products. These products have been planned and designed for over 3 days with a core focus on addressing the key customer problem and associated opportunities.

The Business Objectives

When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to launch a new product. Whilst our existing products have been useful for testing the customer problem, new products are required to fully capitalise on our business potential. Our growth path is clearly oriented around the addition of new products, the development of these new products and the subsequent marketing of these. It is understood that costs will be associated with product development and marketing and these have been allowed for in our budget.

The Customer

Aethel Apparel has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as the need to be able to ship worldwide. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of handmade clothing.

The Value Proposition

Aethel Apparel is uniquely positioned to deliver value to today's fashion and handmade clothing. "Aethel Apparel provides fashionable clothing for teens all handmade and designed personally by me." In order to be deliver on this value proposition, we our clothing are all made by hand with great quality and at a very reasonable price. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the handmade apparels market. We consider one of our key competitors to be: Akoia Swimwear. Our understanding of competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Akoia Swimwear. Though, they produce similar products and has very good connections while we dont have any yet. To get connections, we need to socialize and promote our brand and products more. Akoia swimwear has 3 sets of designs of clothing so far and we have only 1. Sketching, designing and launching new products will let customers buy more than 1 type of product and get customers attracted and wanting to buy more new designs of products. Our clothing has more interesting and eye catching design and akoia ships only within Bali and Australia while Aethel will be able to ship Asia Wide. Our brand logo is also much better than Akoia..


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to launch new products. It will require a big amount of money and to get a big amount of money, we'll need more customers attracted and buy our products by promoting the brand through social medias and ads. Also, by looking for promoters who will most likely to influence other people to buy our products. Example; asking someone who has loads of connections and well known enough to wear and promote our clothing. . This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to develop our team into a bigger number and start by getting new connections through social.. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Launch new collection Obtain 100 customers Open up a real life store
