This is a critical issue for our selected target market of the business person foodie.

Empanada Company is uniquely positioned to deliver value to the business person foodie. "Empanada Company will deliver the most unique empanada using only the freshest ingredients." In order to deliver on this value proposition,we are the first empanada food truck in Houston to have a scratch empanada filling. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the gourmet empanadas market. We consider our key competitors to be: bernie's burger bus, pho-jitas, bom bom, taconmadre. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with bernie's burger bus, pho-jitas, bom bom, taconmadre by unique fillings for our gourmet empanadas.


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to appoint a director or sales and marketing. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to expand with opening a second food truck with in 12 months. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: reach 10,000 followers on twitter have 2 food trucks within 12 months have a restaurant with 36 months
