As a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to grow profitability. It is critical that we balance revenue growth with the growth in our cost base. Whilst the desire for profitable growth may constrain our growth rate, it is more important that revenue growth in isolation.
The Customer
Myicandies was created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as distributing a wide variety of artistic items at valued prices and putting focus on treating each customer with sharing our knowledge and information so they get a specialty service individualy when doing business with us. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Women ages 16 to 50.
The Value Proposition
Myicandies is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Women ages 16 to 50. "Myicandies will Provide unique products for special events that is admiring and fashionable while keeping the customer feeling calm and in control.." In order to deliver on this value proposition, We keep learning and research nonstop to stay up with what is popular and trending, that way we are able to create our unique items for the variety of tastes and keep our knowledgeable information about the industry fresh and ready to pass along. This capability takes considerable time and resources to develop which forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.
Competitors
We have a number of competitors within the Handmade crafts and Wedding industry. We consider our key competitors to be: Acme woodworking, A Touché of class weddings and Pomp n Pagentry. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Acme woodworking, A Touché of class weddings and Pomp n Pagentry by Having been in the wedding industry for over 25 years, being myself personally a part of the key market we cater to and still loving every minute of it . It has remained a passion throughout the years that hasn't wavered. We focus in each customer through every step until THEY are satisfied and finished. We see no finish, no end for us. Each day is different and exciting. Customer service Is what we are and we go more than the extra mile, we don't see an ending we will go all the way..
Key Strategies
Over the next 6 months our focus will be the process of developing a new line of handmade wood items and are promoting them through 2 popular social media and 2 shopping sites online. Facebook and Pinerest along with Etsy and EBay auctions. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to Expand into teaching demonstrations about how we make our crafts through media videos sold in our web store and also Youtube. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.
Milestones
Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 3 years are: To open a brick and mortar shop Obtain a customer mailing list of 500 Write a how to DIY e-book.
