Overview

Tri Pembroke Dock has a clear business objective to promote Sporting event services. At present there are no events of this nature happening locally. Not only will it bring people to out home town, but it will provide opportunity for out local athletes to develop and race in front of local support

The Business Objectives

When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to launch a new event if not two per year each year . Our growth path is clearly oriented around developing the popularity of this event, and make pembroke dock a go to place in pembrokeshire for the weekend we run this event. This will be done through subsequent marketing of the event. It is understood that costs will be associated with the triathlons development and marketing and these have been allowed for in our budget.

The Customer

Tri Pembroke Dock has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as Health and safety. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Athletes.

The Value Proposition

Tri Pembroke Dock is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Athletes. "Tri Pembroke Dock will Local events that aloud personal development and local competition in an ever growing sport." As I am a local health club owner I already have local contacts within the industry. I am already a triathle and ironman competitor! Abd I am one of the most exsperenced fitness proffesonals in Pembrokeshire. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage. A passion for a sport and our local community serves us well as it would not be run for the right reasons with external people trying to develop suck events

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Sporting event market. We consider our key competitors to be: go triathlons in Milford and Haverford West- Activity wales long course weekend in July . Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Only a couple of competitors go triathlons in Milford and haverford west- and Activity wales 'long course weekend in July, However We will be running as a warm up event for such events- which is a stepping stone to the bigger events in the social calendar we will be working with organisations who are already apart of these such events out side of our local area. There is a boom of this sport in our local area but no local event or orginisors running such events .


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to Local marketing to all triathlon clubs and health clubs. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to Orginise volunteers sports companies involvement and expenses of the triathlon . These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next year are: Backing from the council, funding and man power
