Overview

USHealth Advisors has a clear business objective to promote Health Coverage products and services. These products and services have been developed over 55 years with a core focus on addressing the key customer problem and associated opportunities.

The Business Objectives

As a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to educate potential customers on the alternatives to the Affordable Care Act (ACA). It is my goal to do what I can to Help Other People Everyday, buy saving them hundreds a year in health care costs. Our long term objective is to continue to keep our premiums low. People insured by the ACA will continue to see their health care rates increase 20-30% each year. I will lock in your rate for 15 months and if we have an increase it will only be 2-3% after the 15 month period.

The Customer

USHealth Advisors has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as lack of understanding what they are paying for health care coverage, and that there are alternatives to the Affordable Care Act. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Self Employed, Small Businesses and Individuals.

The Value Proposition

USHealth Advisors is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Self Employed, Small Businesses, and Individuals. "USHealth Advisors will Provide affordable health coverage. With no copays and no deductibles.." In order to be deliver on this value proposition, we are not part of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The ACA is on the exchange and has to guarantee insurance to everyone. We are off the exchange, we provide coverage to those who can favorably answer 35 health questions. This keeps our risk pool low, which in turn keeps our premiums low.. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Health Coverage market. We consider our key competitors to be: Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aflac, United Health Care, and all other Affordable Care Act Insurers. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aflac, United Health Care, and all other Affordable Care Act Insurers in many ways, some being: providing on and off the job coverage. We are a PPO network and your coverage is portable, should you change jobs, or move out of state. Don't have time to go to the doctor for a cold? We have a feature called CALL MD, we have doctors available via phone 24/7, call with your symptoms and have a prescription called into your pharmacy within an hour.


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to establish relationships by online networking. Standing by my motto of HOPE (Helping Other People Everyday).. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to expand my personal customer base in states other than Alabama. However, if you are currently not in Alabama I can still provide you service, by working with others in my office. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Obtain a broader referral system to gain customers, we do not advertise, we refer our customers to other small businesses or other self employed. We currently have over 5 million insured and they are saving hundreds a year. In 2 years we want to see that number more than double.
