Island has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as Their are a lack of places with this product. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Heathy minded tourist/expat.
The Value Proposition
Island is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Heathy minded tourist/expat. "Island will provide heathy meals that are hard to find and at a reasonable cost." In order to deliver on this value proposition, we know the customer base better and the service I provide will be far superior as well as a tasty product. This capability has taken considerable time and knowledge to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.
Competitors
We have a number of competitors within the Heathy choice meals market. We consider our key competitors to be: Ra. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Ra because they are the only competition, only open 8-3, slow, with limited choices.
Key Strategies
Over the next 6 months our focus will be to Promote the product throughout the community (dive shops, local expats). This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to Start looking for a possible 2nd location on the island. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.
Milestones
