When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to grow profitability. It is critical that we balance revenue growth with the growth in our cost base. Whilst the desire for profitable growth may constrain our growth rate, it is more important that revenue growth in isolation.
The Customer
Picture This Studios has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as creating a High Quality product at a very reasonable price.. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of inner city birthday parties, models, professionals and special events.
The Value Proposition
Picture This Studios is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Birthday parties, models, professionals and special events. "Picture This Studios will provided high definition professional products at low production price." In order to be able to deliver on this value proposition, because I have been doing photography and Videography for well over 2 decades. I've shot for the Military stateside and overseas and Unlike other businesses that are started solo, we have a collective of other businesses in tandem partnership with me give long me access to very valuable venue space,along with Tech Savvy who will offer all the technical aspects of my business as well as Cloud 9 Art Studio that will showcase my work. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.
Competitors
We have a number of competitors within the Photography and Video production market. We consider our key competitors to be: Glamour Shots, Star Shots, Picture People, JC Penny's Portrait Studio, Macy's Portrait studio. . Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Glamour Shots, Star Shots, Picture People, JC Penny's Portrait Studio, Macy's Portrait studio mostly because I got my photography start at Glamour Shots. I trained there with Nabi Haji,a Glamour Shots Top Executive and Producer 4 out of five years straight beating out The Mall of America in sales, So I know what it takes to succeed competitively in photography because I was a very big part of that process and successfulness therein.
Key Strategies
Over the next 6 months our focus will be to Pair with a startup company the will focus on birthday parties and special events. Appoint a Booking Agent. Contact local photographers who specialize in areas I don't and book them for gigs. Appoint a Sales Manager. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to Expand to a second studio
< br />Knock down the wall in this studio and renovate both studios . These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.
Milestones
Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Obtain 100 Repeat Customers, Buy new equipment and Hire more staff
