Australian Public Works has a clear business objective to produce Public Works Construction Services.
These services including, Project Management, Maintenance (Reactive, Preventative & Scheduled), Restoration Works (Including Heritage Works) & New Construction Works, have been developed over 16 Years with a core focus on addressing any key customer problem/s and associated opportunities.
The Business Objectives
As a key component of our growth strategy, we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to grow revenue and profitability whilst providing a AAA service in all aspects of our business to our valued clients. Customer growth is considered the most critical and measurable business goal. At this stage of our development, we consider this to be more important than profitability growth, although both are important long term objectives.
The Customer
Australian Public Works has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem/s as the need to complete construction works on time & on budget with no headache/s. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Government Agencies.
The Value Proposition
Australian Public Works is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Government Agencies. "APW understands the needs of its customers to have constant electronic and hard copy updates on projects throughout the entire project life as well as completing all construction projects on time & on budget." In order to deliver on this value proposition, we engage only experienced Key staff, Sub contractors & suppliers. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.
Competitors
We have a number of competitors within the Public Works Construction Services market. We consider our key competitors to be: Delahunty Construction and Bejam. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Delahunty Construction and Bejam due to our extensive knowledge of competing against them for the last 3 years as well as our expert Staff & Subcontractors & lower profit margins we are very competitive.
Key Strategies
Over the next 6 months, our focus will be to Contract to existing & new customers .
This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to Invest 7+Million into Property Developments & Investments.. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.
Milestones
Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. We have engaged CCH MAUS to provide software for the monitoring and tracking of our strategy milestones.
The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Turnover minimum of $20M, Contract to at least 3 new Government Agencies Complete at least 12 Property Developments
