This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

 

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the High Quality Seafood & Organic Meats market. We consider our key competitors to be: Supermarkets. In Cayman 90% of exports come from the USA. There are untapped markets and economies of scale for creating lower prices, by going directly to new markets like for e.g. Brazil for lower cost meats and seafoods.. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Supermarkets by offering high quality products at lower prices, creating niche forcing the Supermarkets to buy directly from the company .


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months, our focus will be to increase our revenue threefold . This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to expand from the North American export markets to the South American and South East Asia seafood markets.. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Introduce new export market Supply to the Big "3" supermarkets and distribute to a minimum of 20% of the Restaurant & Hotels in the Cayman Islands.
