When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Vagus Inc has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as The need for tender quality beef. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Abattoirs, supermarkets, army, restaurants and the savvy individual buyer. Personal deliveries will be made to corporate clients who order in bulk
The Value Proposition
Vagus Inc is uniquely positioned to deliver value to abattoirs, supermarkets, army, restaurant and corporate clients. "Vagus Inc will Produce grass fed beef for our high end customers." In order to deliver on this value proposition, we wiil use our extensive knowledge of pasture management and animal genetics and nutrition accumulated in 5 different high producing countries. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.
Competitors
We have a number of competitors within the Beef cattle market. We consider our key competitors to be: Other beef producers, poultry and pork. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with other beef producers by unleashing our unique production knowledge, hands-on practical knowledge. We will work and live on the land, not operate remotely.
Key Strategies
Over the next 6 months our focus will be to Lease land. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to raise capital and source low maintenance beef genetics. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.
Milestones
Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: 99 year lease of land with government, recruitment of key staff: Farm Operations Manager, raise capital, source beef genetics and intitute capital developments on-farm
