This is a critical issue for our selected target market of goths of all ages.

Morticia & Gomez is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Goths of All Ages. "Morticia & Gomez will Provide Goths with Ideas for how to dress for work and not compromise their aesthetic.." In order to be deliver on this value proposition, we As I have participated in the goth scene for approximately 10 years, I have seen us suffer in our attempts to balance making money and our beliefs and aesthetics. I wish to use my experience to empower and diversify ourselves.. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.
Competitors
We have one known competitor within the gothic market. We consider our key competitor to be: Gothic BeautyOur understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Gothic Beauty by focusing on the work force, not the goth scene as a whole. We will write about fashion wearable at work. We will have DIY sections and/or patterns (like in the Jap magazines). We will dwarf the size of the magazine so that it may be carried many places (like JET mag). My mag will be cheaper (hopefully priced at $3.99, not $5.99). Lastly, there will be an app. Development of the app will happen in the future. It may be a subscription app for the mag of daily tips to upgrade style for work. Or both.
Key Strategies
When I am able to begin, I will display a miniature version of the magazines in open spaces on campus and tell people they can buy the full version online or at the bookstore. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to print more magazines, hire people to manage the website, and hire a sales manager. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.
Milestones
Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Launch the product and have both a physical and online medium, have a solid customer base of at least 500 people, and experience growth that would project the company lasting longer than 2 years.
