HP Print & Vehicle Graphics has a clear business objective to develop, produce, promote and distribute signage solutions, products and services. The Business Objectives

As a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objectives is to acquire new customers. Customer acquisition is considered to be the critical activity and we are seeking to grow the number of customers. We understand that customer growth could be at the expense of profitability, and that there is a cost associated with customer acquisition. Our long term objective is to build a clear customer acquisition process.

HP Print & Vehicle Graphics has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as the need to have modern signage that portrays the correct message to their customers. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Small/Medium businesses.

The Value Proposition

HP Print & Vehicle Graphics is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Small/Medium businesses. "HP Print & Vehicle Graphics will attract more customers and increase the foot traffic into our customers premises at a competitive price with a great turnaround time to allow our customers to benefit NOW!" In order to be able to deliver on this value proposition, we have stringently tested our suppliers products and turnaround times. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the signage solutions market. We consider our key competitors to be: Focus Signs, PH Signs, Barber Signs, High Peak Signs and Interlith. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Focus Signs, PH Signs, Barber Signs, High Peak Signs and Interlith by having same day suppliers, offering a wider range of sign types normally only available to nationwide sign companies and by having local suppliers with low negotiated pricing.


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to create and follow a marketing plan, employ a sales person as soon as possible, develop our knowledge on new signage options coming to market. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to start to bring all outsourced products in house by purchasing our own machinery. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: obtain a minimum of 52 customers per year (1 per week), successfully fit 12 led signs a year, employ 5 members of staff.
