Our specific product choices have been made with care and we will rely on Cafe d'Arte alder roasted coffee blends to provide and distinct Pacific Northwest Flavor and Republic of Tea teas to maintain high quality for tea drinkers. We will also focus on making some products from scratch such as chai tea mix and syrup flavorings.

We have a number of competitors within the local coffee market. We consider our key competitors to be: Heritage Coffee Co, The Grind, The Rookery, Coppa. The Douglas Outpost, a newly established business in Douglas will also be competition for our target market. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively by offering our unique products that are not available anywhere else in the greater Juneau area and due to the fact that this niche is underserved in the Douglas area

Over the next 3 months our focus will be to build a cart and obtain espresso making equipment. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to establish the cart as a Douglas mainstay and to start out small
