Overview

megadisc has a clear business objective to produce disc golf multiplex products and services. These products and services have been developed over 1 year with a core focus on addressing the key customer problem and associated opportunities.

The Business Objectives

When as a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to acquire new customers. Customer acquisition is considered to be the critical activity and we are seeking to grow the number of customers. We understand that customer growth could be at the expense of profitability, and that there is a cost associated with customer acquisition. Our long term objective is to build a clear customer acquisition process.

The Customer

megadisc has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as:creating a disc golf multi course property that is about 1 hour from Minneapolis. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of disc golfers.

The Value Proposition

megadisc is uniquely positioned to deliver value to disc golfers. "megadisc will create four disc golf courses on one property. our complex will feature courses that are well designed, well maintained and dedicated to disc golf. all within one hour of Minneapolis." In order to be deliver on this value proposition, we the opportunity to create a multi course complex requires a comprehensive network of trusted partners, which we have, already in place. our main advantage is timing, as this will be the first crowd funded disc golf destination, ever.. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the disc golf multiplex market. We consider our key competitors to be: highbridge hills sports complex, lemon lake, selah ranch and justin trails . Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with highbridge hills sports complex, lemon lake, selah ranch and justin trails locating one hour from Minneapolis, the 16th largest metro region in the us, and the highest ratio of disc golf courses of ANY major metro region, worldwide.

we will crowd fund this project, capitalizing on the ongoing growth in the market.

crowd funding will allow us to acquire the property, design and develop the courses, and buy the necessary equipment to fully install four 18 hole courses.

operating capital, insurance and other costs will be covered from day one, allowing us to provide the ultimate disc golf experience , without the overbearing risks involved in a typical venture. .


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to enact indiegogo campaign . This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to do it again in Austin tx. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.
