We have a number of competitors within the Arts and Business Events market. We consider our key competitors to be The Venue in Stocksbridge, The Lantern Theatre and The Greystones Pub. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with other venues of this kind as we are distinctly focused on providing an unparalleled, city-like service in a totally unique countryside environment. The venue will house: a coffee bar, 100 seater music hall acoustically treated and fitted with state of the art sound system, an in-house corporate events organiser and team building coordinator, a large stage and performance space, a dance floor and a full theatre lighting rig.
Key Strategies
Over the next 6 months our focus will be to build the venue. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to Hold events for at least half of every month. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are to: Launch the venue, obtain a full alcohol license and generate £50k annual profit.
