Baker's Meat Co. has a clear business objective to develop, produce and promote value-added meat products over the counter. These products have been developed over a 22year career which was mainly driven by growth and innovation with a core focus on addressing the key customer demands and associated opportunities.

As a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to grow revenue and expand on existing customer base. Baker's Meat Co. has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as Convenience. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of time poor busy professionals working long hours.
Supermarkets can also benefit as they do not have the skilled personnel available to prepare and display ready to cook or gourmet style products.

The Value Proposition

Baker's Meat Co. is uniquely positioned to deliver value to DINKS, Supermarket & Foodservice. "Baker's Meat Co. will Provide semi prepared meals for time poor customers, deliver a ready packaged gourmet products for the supermarkets, steaks which are portion controlled for restaurants." Having a centrally focused area to deliver the great products without the disruptions of other business issues. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the value-adding product market. We consider our key competitors to be: good butcher shops with an understanding of ready to cook. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with good butcher shops as there is very little competition our the centre or streets.
